Working projects that put energy data to work

UEnergyHub is more than a platform. These are live projects across the ecosystem that turn energy and weather data into something people can see, learn from and act on, from students to utilities.

Featured project

GooseAtlas

An interactive map of the electricity grid and live weather, free for anyone to explore.

GooseAtlas is a live atlas of the electricity system. On one map it shows power plants, high-voltage transmission lines, substations, utility service territories, live wholesale prices and live weather, across Canada and the Caribbean. It turns the scattered pieces of the grid into a single picture you can open in a browser, at no cost.

  • Power plants, transmission lines and substations on one map
  • Live weather and live wholesale electricity prices
  • Coverage across Canada and more than a dozen Caribbean nations
  • Search any place and zoom straight to it, on phone or desktop
